Workshop on Incidence Geometry and Information Security Applications
Location: The Engineering and Mathematics Building at the University of Adelaide. Here is a map of campus.
Dr Sue Barwick (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Dr Matthew Brown (email@example.com).
There is no registration fee. All interested are welcome.
The purpose of this workshop is two-fold. First to discuss recent and current research techniques in the area of incidence geometry. This will mainly, but not exclusively, include finite incidence geometries such as generalized quadrangles, projective and polar spaces, partial geometries and semipartial geometries as well as extremal structures in such geometries. The second purpose it to discuss the application of incidence geometries to problems in information security.
The workshop will include organised sessions of talks on both incidence geometry techniques and information security applications. There will be a scheduled session to discuss open problems, as well as opportunities for informal discussions between participants. It is anticipated that the last day will contain no talks, but be left free for participants to develop joint research projects.
There is no registration fee, and all interested in attending are welcome. There is no expectation of participants presenting a talk, although it is strongly encouraged.
Please feel free to circulate this announcement to anyone whom you feel may be interested.
Although there is no registration fee, registration is necessary for organisational purposes and for the official records of the IGA.
